The Armed Forces Weekend – Sat 30 Jun – Sun 1 Jul 2012

This year the Armed forces Weekend has moved back to Wollaton Park and takes place over the weekend 30 Jun – 1 Jul 2012. This year again will see some 20, 000 – 30,000 per day weather permitting.

There are all the normal attractions, including the drum head service on the Sunday morning at 1030hrs during which all the veterans, association standards etc are encouraged to attend.

There will be two, possibly three arenas, a full stage and lots of other attractions, including the fair, bar and catering. A large marquee is being set up for the associations, various charities and activities such has face painting. There will be a market and other sellers have been invited.
