Kettering Air Cadets celebrate Jubilee year

Final arrangements are being made as Kettering Air Cadets prepare for their annual dinner and awards evening on Saturday 17th March 2012.

During the prestigious event local dignitaries, ex-servicemen, cadets and adult volunteers will come together to celebrate the work of the Northampton Road Squadron and officially mark the Diamond Jubilee year.

Squadron commanding officer, Flight Lieutenant Guy Slack, said: “Our annual dinner in March is the pinnacle of our social calendar and give us the chance to celebrate the sterling work that goes on at the Squadron each week.

“This year is particularly special as it gives us the chance to mark the Diamond Jubilee and raise a glass to the Queen.”

During the evening awards will be presented to cadets to mark their achievements and recognise their hard work and dedication to the Squadron.
