Reserve forces

The Reserve Forces are military organisations that are affiliated to the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. They are run day-to-day by a combination of Reservists and Regular personnel.

Reservists are men and woman of various ages who chose to undertake Reserve Force training outside of their civilian career. The civilian career of a reservist generally does not dictate what role they undertake within the Reserve Forces apart from those involved in the medical profession.
